Celem konferencji - której temat wpisuje się w zaplanowany przez Unię Europejską
Doceniając rolę seniorów w kulturze, pragniemy pochylić się nad następującymi zagadnieniami:

Nadesłane artykuły zostaną poddane recenzjom zewnętrznym i w przypadku ocen pozytywnych opublikowane w wersji polskiej w czasopiśmie „Gerontologia współczesna. Alter Ego Seniora” lub w wersji angielskiej w półroczniku „Journal of Education Culture and Society” ( www.jecs.pl ) w numerze 1/ 2016. przed konferencją. Czasopismo „Journal of Education Culture and Society” jest notowane na polskiej liście ministerialnej czasopism naukowych B (4 punkty) oraz w licznych międzynarodowych bazach danych. Patronat naukowy nad konferencją objęło Polskie Towarzystwo Gerontologiczne Oddział we Wrocławiu. Mamy nadzieję, że konferencja stanie się znaczącym wydarzeniem w światowej gerontologii. Przewidujemy ponad 200 uczestników z całej Europy i spoza kontynentu. W części głównej wystąpią specjalnie zaproszeni goście honorowi z Niemiec, Włoch, Hiszpanii, Holandii, Polski, Rosji, Ukrainy oraz Iranu.

Jubilee Conference
40 years of the University of The Third Age in the University of Wrocław
The University of the Third Age in Wroclaw, on the occasion of its 40th Jubilee, is organizing an International Scientific Conference entitled “Seniors for Culture”. The conference will take place on July 4th to 6th , 2016. The aim of the conference – whose topics will fit into the project planned by the European Union for the year 2016 called “Wroclaw – European Capital of Culture” – will present the role and importance of older people in the cultural life of our society. Seniors characterized by the natural feature of their increased sensitivity at culture’s heart, the values of goodness, beauty and truth are not only grateful recipients of culture but they also have their own, direct contribution in the development of culture. Oftentimes they are its authors and ambassadors, and in everyday life they fulfill a generative mission, which consists of the care for the tradition and transmission of its values to the younger generations.
Appreciating the role of seniors in culture, we want to discuss the following issues:
The inauguration of the jubilee conference will take place in the Aula Leopoldina in the main building of the University of Wroclaw on July 4th 2016, from 15:00 to 19:00. The scientific part, workshops, poster sessions and exhibitions have been scheduled for July 5th and 6th 2016, from 10:00 to 16:00 in the University of the Third Age, the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of the University of Wroclaw. Please submit your proposals for speeches and articles for publishing, up to January 15th 2016 to the email address: [email protected]
Submitted papers will be externally reviewed and in the case of positive review, they will be published in Polish Journal "Gerontologia współczesna. Alter Ego Seniora" or in English in the semi-annual journal “Journal of Education Culture and Society” ( www.jecs.pl ) in issue 1/2016 before the conference. “Journal of Education Culture and Society” is listed on the Polish ministerial list of scientific journals – part B (4 points) and is indexed in numerous international databases. We hope that the conference will be a significant event in world gerontology. We anticipate more than 200 participants from the whole of Europe and beyond. The main section will include specially-invited honourary guests from Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, Poland, Russia, Ukraine and Iran.

JUBILÄUMS - KONFERENZAus Anlass des 40-jährigen Jubiläums wird von der Universität des dritten Alters an der Wroclawer Universität vom 04. bis 06.Juli 2016 eine Internationale Wissenschaftliche Konferenz organisiert , zu dem Thema: "Senioren – Repräsentanten der Kultur" Das Ziel der Konferenz - deren Thema sich in das, von der Europäischen Union für das Jahr 2016 geplantem Projekt hineinschreibt, mit dem Kennwort ,,Wroclaw die Europäische Kulturhauptstadt” - ist die Darstellung der Rolle und die Bedeutung älterer Personen im kulturellen Leben der Gesellschaft. Senioren, welche sich auf natürliche Weise mit erhöhter Empfindsamkeit auf den Wert von Güte, Schönheit und Wahrheit kennzeichnen, sind nicht nur eine dankbare Zielgruppe. Sie haben ausserdem ihre eigenen, unmittelbaren Beiträge in die Entwicklung der Kultur, sie sind oft ihre Schöpfer und Botschafter. Im Alltag erfüllen się eine generative Mission, welche auf Pflege von Tradition und Überweisung von Werten an die jüngeren Generationen beruht.
Die Rolle der Senioren auf dem Gebiet der Kultur würdigend, möchten wir folgende Probleme berühren:
Der Jubiläumsteil der Konferenz findet in der repräsentativen Leopoldiner Aula im Hauptgebäude der Universität Wroclaw am 04.07.2016 von 15.oo bis 19.oo Uhr statt. Der wissenschaftliche Teil, Workshops, Plakat -Session sowie Ausstellungen sind für den 05.-06.07.2016 von 10.00 bis 16.00 Uhr geplant - im Gebäude der U3A im Institut für Pädagogik und Psychologie der Universität Wroclaw. Wir bitten - bis zum 15.01.2016 - um Anmeldung Ihrer Vorschläge für Vorlesungen sowie von Artikeln zwecks Publizierung . Alter Ego Seniora” in Polnisch publiziert oder in Englisch in der Nr. 1/2016 der Halbjahrausgabe,,Journal of Education Culture and Society” ( www.jecs.pl ) vor der Konferenz. Diese Zeitschrift in englischer Sprache ist in der polnischen Ministerialliste für Wissenschaftszeitschriften B (4 Punkte) – sowie in zahlreichen internationalen Datenbänken registriert. Die wissenschaftliche Schirmherrschaft über die Konferenz übernahm die Polnische Gesellschaft für Gerontologie / Abteilung Wroclaw.
